Product care.
Materials, cleaning and everyday care for every Loomo planter, tray and lamp.
A little care goes a long way.
Care depends on each piece’s material and finish. Details are being confirmed before launch; please avoid assuming a piece is waterproof, dishwasher safe or suitable for food contact.
Each product page lists that piece's confirmed materials and cleaning under Care. The notes below are general guidance for each category.
Planters
Wipe the outside with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry it. Unless the product page says it has a drainage hole, keep the plant in its nursery pot inside the planter and lift it out to water, so water never stands in the planter.
Trays
Wipe with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth. Trays are made for keys, jewellery and small everyday things; do not use one for food unless its product page says it is suitable.
Vases
Wipe with a soft cloth. Unless the product page says a vase holds water, place a glass or small jar inside for fresh flowers, or use it for dried stems.
Coasters
Wipe with a soft cloth and dry after use. Do not rely on a coaster for hot cups or pans unless the product page says it is heat resistant.
Bookends
Dust with a soft cloth. Place on a stable, level shelf and lift rather than slide, so the shelf stays unscratched.
Desk Organisers
Wipe with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth, and avoid leaving wet items inside.
Wall Decor
Dust with a soft, dry cloth. Hang or fix with fixings that suit both the wall and the weight of the piece, as described on its product page.
Figurines & Sculptures
Dust with a soft brush or cloth and lift the piece by its base. Keep it on a stable surface, away from the edge.
Table Lamps
Switch off and unplug before cleaning, then wipe with a soft, dry or barely damp cloth; never spray liquid on a lamp. Use only the bulb type and indoor setting described in the Light & power section of its product page.
Boxes & Baskets
Wipe with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth. Do not overfill, and lift a box or basket from underneath rather than by its rim.
